Since its establishment in 1965 McCarter’s BBQ, has been more than just a corner BBQ joint where you can grab a tasty rib (or chicken!) sandwich. McCarter’s is a beacon of community spirit, nostalgia, and an embodiment of Old Fort Myers. Under the dedicated stewardship of Willie McCarter, the restaurant has become a local legend and a beloved fixture. Willie, who will celebrate his 70th birthday on September 3rd, has been the heart and soul of McCarter’s BBQ making it a cornerstone of Fort Myers life for decades.

The McCarter’s BBQ Rehab Fundraiser aims to gather the community in support of Willie McCarter and his family as they embark on a vital renovation project to rejuvenate McCarter’s BBQ and it’s iconic location.
